1. These Terms and Conditions of Entry relate to the COKE Dome Experience 2011/12 (the COKE Dome or the Event).
  2. REGISTRATION

  3. You must be 14 years of age or over to experience the COKE Dome or accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years.
  4. To enter, either go to www.coke.co.nz and register your name, date of birth and contact details online or you can register at the COKE Dome. You must accept the terms and conditions during registration.
  5. If you register online you will receive a message via email or on-screen at www.coke.co.nz to confirm that your registration has been successfully received. You should receive an email within five minutes of submitting your registration. From time to time, this may take longer due to operator traffic which is beyond the Promoter's control.
  6. Any cost associated with accessing the COKE Dome website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider or telecommunications provider used. You should only access the Event website from a PC/laptop, as access to the Event website from a handheld/mobile device is not available.
  7. ENTRY

  8. Entry into this Event requires acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Entry. All elements of the registration process, including the declaration of fitness to participate and the release, form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
  9. You can register for the Event only once.
  10. SAFETY AND ETIQUETTE DURING THE EVENT

  11. All Event Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous manner during their participation in the Event. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude Participants from participation in the COKE Dome if you fail to comply with the direction of the Promoter or the event organisers or if you act in a manner that is dangerous or disruptive to you, to other event participants or to the public.
  12. While the Promoter has taken every reasonable measure to ensure Participants' safety, as a Participant , you are responsible for your own safety and participate entirely at your own risk
  13. The Promoter and event organisers have a zero tolerance policy on drugs, alcohol, harassment of any form, racism, and offensive behaviour and language. The Promoter and event organiser reserve the right to exclude from the COKE Dome any Participant breaching this policy at their absolute discretion.
  14. The COKE Dome is an outdoor event taking place in the height of summer. We recommend attendees are prepared for the elements, including bringing plenty of sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses or wet weather gear if weather indicates, and are responsible for their own general safety.

    WRISTBANDS

    1. All Participants are assigned an RFID chip - this is embedded in each wristband provided at the event. COKE Dome Participants must swipe their wristband at the start of the experience to commence participation.
    2. When a Participant swipes their wristband this will result in an automated post being made on the Facebook page that was nominated by the Participant during the registration process. Participants have the option of posting two additional Facebook status updates during the course of their participation.
  15. PRIZES

  16. The Promoter may distribute Coca-Cola beverages to some Participants at its discretion at the COKE Dome but does not guarantee that all Participants will receive gifts of products.
  17. GENERAL

  18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of all registrations (including a Participant's identity, age, city/town of residence and place of employment) and to disqualify any Participant who submits an entry or registration that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry/registration process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  19. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries or registrations will be deemed invalid.
  20. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. Entering details online is not proof of receipt of the registration. When entering online the Participant will receive on screen confirmation of the registration. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any messages that are lost or delayed, or which are unable to be sent due to lack of network coverage, operator or network error, or for any other reason beyond its control.
  22. If for any reason the administration, security, fairness, integrity, conduct or operation of this Event is interfered with or disrupted in any way by a cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter (including but not limited to act of God; any act of a public enemy, war, civil unrest, or act of military authority; fire, flood, earthquake, landslide, or other elements of nature; any strike, lockout or other labour dispute; any act of a third party engaged in terrorist activity or sabotage; vandalism; tampering; power failures; computer bugs or viruses; unauthorised intervention; fraud or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
    1. to disqualify any Participant; and/or
    2. as appropriate, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel; or recommence this Event,.
  23. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, misdirected, late or illegible entries, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, for system failures at the handling house, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, computer equipment, software or any other error or malfunction. Neither can the Promoter be held responsible for the failure to fulfill the obligations of any of the third parties involved in this Event, although the Promoter will always endeavor to minimise the effect to the participant of any such failure.
  24. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its directors, shareholders, officers, employees, contractors, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and Promotional agencies) its related companies and Coca-Cola Amatil (NZ) Limited (the Related Parties) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or death, or loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Event, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following:
    1. any negligence of a Relevant Party;
    2. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control);
    3. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    4. any registration that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; or
    5. any variation in Registration to that stated in these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
  25. All entries remain the property of the Promoter.
  26. The Promoter reserves the right to take photographic and other moving images of the events and have unlimited rights to these images for Promotional purposes and on the day of the event. If you do not wish for a photo of you to appear in Promotional material, please inform the photographers, so your photo or image will not be taken or used.
  27. The Promoter will host photographic and other moving images of the events on www.facebook.com/cocacolanz. Should you wish for your image to be removed from this site please contact craig@madant.co.nz.
  28. Photo images of Participants in COKE Dome activities will be uploaded to the Participant's Facebook page at the event with the express consent of the Participant to be given at the time of upload.
  29. The Promoter collects Participants' personal information in order to conduct this Event. If the information requested is not provided, the Participant may not participate in this Event. All personal information provided by Participants will be held for the Promoter at Satellite Media, P.O. Box 90736, Auckland Mail Service Centre, Victoria Street, Auckland, New Zealand or such other place as is notified to the Participant on request. The personal information of Participants may also be provided to others (including organisations outside of New Zealand) assisting in the conduct of this Event, including the Event's administrator, agencies and event coordinators, and to authorities that regulate the Event. Participants acknowledge that they provide their consent for this to occur by participating in the Event. Under the Privacy Act 1993, Eligible Entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the address set out below. The Promoter will destroy all details once the Event closes.
  30. The Promoter reserves its right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Entry at any time for any reason. You agree that you will be bound by such changes and that you will not hold the Promoter liable for any losses resulting from any such changes.
  31. These Terms and Conditions of Entry are governed by, construed in accordance with, the laws of New Zealand and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS EVENT OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS EVENT MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW IN THE EVENT THAT ANY SUCH ATTEMPT IS MADE, WHETHER OR NOT THAT ATTEMPT RESULTS IN ANY SUCH DAMAGE, INTERFERENCE OR UNDERMINING
